Your children are very important to us and we take extra care to make sure they are in the best possible environment. Caregivers have first aid and CPR training, Medicine Administration Training, take and renew classes annually, TB test, and background checks.

Owner
Loved by students and staff past & present, Sandy's infectious personality is what sets us apart! When Sandy isn't at the daycare, she can be found at the baseball field or courtside at her grandchildren's ball games. She is also very close with her sons and daughters. Sandy also enjoys bike rides and walking. ​

Katie Sawyer
Admin/Owner
As Sandy's daughter, Katie grew up in her mom's daycare. She inherited her mother's love of children and perseverance. Her business experience came from years of managing a successful local restaurant. All of her free time is spent at the baseball field cheering on her son or the pool or the beach.​

Rebecca Rudelt
Director
Energetic and driven, we were thrilled when Rebecca joined as our director. Rebecca is always excited to take on the next challenge and push our team forward. In her personal time, Rebecca loves crafting and going to the gym. You will usually find her spending time with her beautiful son and daughter.​

Hala Sefen
Infant Lead Teacher
We absolutely love Hala! Her gentle demeanor makes her a magical infant teacher. She is patient and attentive to their needs. The babies in turn, are constantly smiling and happy. As she is teaching them to use their words, her English is expanding constantly! In her personal time, she likes spending time with family and friends. Before coming to us, she was teacher of the month in Egypt.​

Jessica Anderson
Junior Preschool Lead Teacher
Jessica was enrolled at Sandy’s as a toddler along with her newborn brother. Over the years she continued growing her experience babysitting. She is cool and calm under pressure and genuinely loves spending time with the children. She is currently in college to be a dental hygienist where she is Vice President of Delta Sigma Pre-Dental Society. She likes going to the beach, hiking, & painting.

Sara Shehata
Preschool Lead Teacher
Sara’s genuinely nurturing and sweet personality makes her a favorite among our children! When she’s not here chasing our littles, she enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing, and watching movies. Her 34 years teaching Sunday school makes her a priceless asset to our team. In the future, she hopes to be an elementary school teacher.

Samantha Hargis

Samantha spent her early childhood years at Sandy's Angels Daycare. She also spent her summers lifeguarding, making her proficient in CPR & First Aid. The kids in her care know that if Miss Sam is in their class, there will be FUN! In Sam’s spare time she enjoys long walks and cooking. Her future passions are to save the world!​

Jakireh Silver
Lead Teacher
Jakireh started working with us as an assistant mostly after school and since then she has become an excellent infant teacher. While she seems shy and soft-spoken, you can usually find her singing and dancing and making babies laugh. She has worked with all of our ages and has proven she is great with all children. In her free time, she likes to be at home, learning different things. Her future passion is to be a preschool teacher. Jakireh is patient, sweet, silly, and creative and we’re happy to have her!

Kayla has been such a lovely addition to our Angel family. From day she has always gone above and beyond showcasing her maturity and work ethic. Her consistent ability to keep a calm head during chaos is one reason our children all gravitate to her. She is a safe space, and it is felt by all. You can always count on Kayla to step in and help or just be a listener. In Kayla’s free time, she enjoys playing video games and going to the beach.​

Adam Anderson
Lead Teacher
Adam enrolled at Sandy’s from infancy. He followed in his sister’s steps returning to start his work experience with us. Our kids genuinely love Adam as he is a strong male role model and still gentle and nurturing as he is just as comfortable with babies. Nothing ever ruffles Adam’s feathers or upsets him. To watch him work is both entertaining and endearing. He is attentive and responsible and takes his role seriously and with the utmost professionalism.​​

Shalynn Schell
Lead Teacher
We’re so happy to have Shalynn, or “Miss Shay!” as they yell every time she walks into the classroom. Miss Shay’s 10 plus years of experience babysitting and nannying along with extensive volunteer work with Girl scouts, preschoolers, and preschool photography really speaks for itself. Her ability to understand, calm, and make them feel safe creates a very special bond with our children. Shalynn’s future passions include anything involving children. In Shay’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, watching movies, and going to the beach.​

Kiara’s genuinely nurturing and sweet personality makes her a favorite among our children! Her calm, soothing demeanor is contagious and magnetic. Her previous experience working with the elderly prepared her for this role as her patience is unmatched. In her free time, she enjoys watching her favorite shows and spending time with family and friends. In the future she aspires to be a pharmacy technician.​

Avaona Vaughan

Miss Avaona’s bubbly personality is so contagious. She is an honest, caring, ray of sunshine. She always has a smile for everyone, and the children always know where to find a comforting hug. In Avaona’s downtime, she enjoys reading and learning new things. In the future she would like to be a real estate investor.​

K'Lajah Adams

Miss K’Lajah is such a blessing to us! She joined us after loads of experience from in-home childcare and the YMCA. Our littles just love K’Lajah’s silliness and ability to dance and play right alongside them. She is truly a team player and always ready to jump in and help. In K’Lajah’s spare time, she enjoys reading, painting, and sleeping. Her future passions involve social work.

Cierra Wilder
Infant Room
Cierra came to us with over 6 years of childcare experience. She had left the field and missed the children so much that she had to return. She is a perfect fit for our team! She comes in each day with positive, awesome vibes! Our babies love her because she is calm and yet constantly sparking their interests providing the attentiveness infants crave. Cierra is professional, dependable, compassionate, and a great problem solver. In the future she hopes to pursue a degree in the dermatology field.

Stephanie Coe

Miss Stephanie is our very own local Disney Princess. Our kiddos love her unique style as you never know whether she will come in a full ballgown or not that day. She has a special way of caring for children with special needs. She really strives to ensure each child feels seen, heard, and validated. In the future she’d like to be a preschool teacher or pediatric therapist. In Stephanie’s free time, she enjoys swimming, playing the piano, and reading.
